Khatu Shyam Ji – The Hope of Devotees
Khatu Shyam Ji, also known as “Haare Ka Sahara”, is a beloved Hindu deity worshipped mainly in Rajasthan and across India. Located in the Sikar district, the Khatu Shyam Temple attracts lakhs of devotees each year. He is believed to be the reincarnation of Barbarik, grandson of Bhima from the Mahabharata. Pleased with his sacrifice, Lord Krishna blessed him to be worshipped in Kaliyug. Devotees offer flowers, churma, and halwa, and many walk barefoot to the temple with deep faith. The grand Phalgun Mela held every year in February–March is a major spiritual event. People believe that whoever prays to Shyam Baba with a pure heart, never goes empty-handed. His name brings peace, strength, and divine support.
